Connection

The Thermo Top Evo is connected to the vehicle coolant system as shown in Integration in the coolant system Inline, and Coolant pump. The amount of coolant in the circuit must be at least the volume specified in “Technical data”.

The heater should preferably be integrated in the coolant system at the vehicle's heat exchanger inlet.

  1. Collect the coolant running out of the system in a suitable container. The cooling system must be vented according to the manufacturer's instructions.

The coolant hoses supplied by Webasto should always be used. If this is not possible, the hoses must comply with DIN 73411 material class B as a minimum. The hoses should be installed without kinks and – for problem-free bleeding – as far as possible with an upward slope away from the heater.

Only hoses with an inner diameter of 18 mm may be selected.

Hose connections must be secured against slipping using clamps.
